The after-school enrichment program addresses the current academic gaps and needs of each participating youth as opposed to focusing on the mere achievement of conventional grade benchmarks. This approach allows our staff to meet youth at their current level of academic performance in a non-threatening learning environment.
Participating youth work independently and in study teams based on subject matter and grade level. Supplemental materials are provided for students so that the learning process is continual.
Our staff, along with community volunteers, serve a diverse group of students, tutoring grades Kindergarten through Sixth grade with homework, projects and their overall educational needs.
